Angela R. Collins, M.A., RPA

Biography
Angela R. Collins received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Colorado State University (2000), then completed her graduate work at the University of Iowa (2006). She has been conducting archaeology in Iowa since 2001. Her specialized skills involve material analysis with pXRF and ceramic petrography, as well as aerial thermography utilizing a small uncrewed aerial system (drone) as an FAA-licensed drone pilot.
At OSA, Angela is the Assistant Research Director, serving as PI for non-DOT research projects, overseeing ca. 275 projects a year. Contact her if you require archaeological survey or architecture history survey.
Angela also serves as Editor for the Journal of the Iowa Archeological Society.
