OSA's Fiscal Year 2023 Annual Report is now available! July 30, 2022-June 1, 2023 was another busy year for OSA. Learn about academic activities; office and staff achievements; students and volunteers; archaeological and architectural investigations; and find out what our research, bioarchaeology, and strategic initiatives programs were up to.

• 63 years of service to Iowa and the Midwest region as a UI research center
• 70 staff members and adjunct research in FY23
• $1,947,508 received in support from sponsored grants and contracts
• 31,789 archaeological sites recorded in Iowa at the end of FY23
• 3,489 volunteer and student hours contributed to OSA projects
• 3,500+ people engaged through OSA and archaeology events
• 319 collections newly accessioned during the FY
