Lara Noldner, Bioarchaeology Director for the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist, will be the first guest speaker in the 2020 Toolesboro Touchstones program series hosted by Louisa County Conservation.

Mounds like those at Toolesboro Mounds National Historic Landmark are common features of Iowa's prehistoric landscape. What we know about mounds from archaeology and Native perspectives will be discussed, along with the protections they are provided today.
